For many years I taught part-time on a wide range of courses. I had qualified with both FETC and PGCE not long after my second degree and always enjoyed the environment of the classroom.

I variously taught life drawing, analytical drawing, graphic design, multimedia and web design at Foundation, HND, degree and masters levels for over ten years up until 2006.

I was recently asked to run a couple of masterclasses in life drawing at the Royal Cambrian Academy of Art in North Wales (of which I am a member). In doing these I realised how much I enjoyed and missed the teaching process.

This led to me agreeing to teach a similar masterclass at Galerie du Nord in Amsterdam during their month long life drawing event. The attendant artists came from all over Europe and the US and the atmosphere and results were  very satisfying.
